SEEDORF-COCO
SWAP IS DONE
MILAN - AC Milan and Inter Milan finally
reached an agreement to swap Clarence Seedorf with Francesco Coco (whose
loan to Barcelona expires at the end of the current month), as AC Milan
CEO Adriano Galliani notified after a meeting he held with Inter Milan
top managers.
"The clubs agreed on the operation", Galliani
reported, "but we have to set the hiring fee with the players. We will
contact Clarence Seedorf, as Inter Milan will do the same with Coco".
Mr. Galliani went on to say that "the swap
is not to be interpreted as a solution for budgetary problems of the clubs.
It’s just a technical choice", and concluded: "Seedorf’s arrival won’t
be a problem as far as Rui Costa’s position is concerned.
