Coco
bid by Juventus and Inter
Italy's international left back Francesco
Coco, who plays for Barcelona, has received offers from both Juventus and
Inter Milan, his father and agent Nino Coco told a Spanish radio station
on Monday.
Nino Coco, whose son was loaned from AC
Milan to Barcelona at the start of the season, said the players' future
was up in the air. "Anything is possible," he said.
The 24-year-old player has said it is
his main aim to play at the 2002 World Cup finals with Italy and to do
that he needs to play regular first team football.
He did play at the start of the season
because of the injury to Barcelona's first-choice left back Sergi. However
Sergi is back in action and relegated Coco to the substitutes bench on
Sunday.
Sergi is a big favourite at the club due
to his long career there and the signs are Coco will be frozen out of the
starting line-up should Sergi remain fit, hampering Coco's World Cup hopes.
